Custom Design/Analysis Software

Over the past 8+ years, Techsburg (and partner company AVEC, Inc.) have developed custom in-house software for the design, optimization, and analysis of aircraft propellers. A recent U.S. Army SBIR contract led to the development of a reduced-order tool to predict the tonal noise radiation of propellers installed in pusher configurations. Another code aims to optimize propeller geometries to minimize noise while meeting performance and geometric constraints. ​

In the coming years, Techsburg and AVEC will be working to offer custom propeller design, optimization, and/or analysis software to clients in the aerospace industry. Stay tuned for details!
